Simple. Fast.

Coming first from the print publishing industry, we seek out the best ways to refine and improve our framework etaoin shrdlu to offer your online publication the newest and most reliable language for publishing custom layouts with - from scratch - web page construction in about 30 minutes.

How many web pages could your publication now produce?

Why did CEP create layered web page framework for online publishing?

We first sought to find a way to quickly develop web pages that are true to traditional magazine layouts. The complexity and purpose of print layouts was lost to online publishing. When first creating an online magazine, we consulted

with four website development companies and were presented with WordPress. However, prefab layouts that are free to download would cost us considerably in consumer identity and take days to make simple modifications.

We realized that we’d have to go a new direction.  In ten plus years in the publishing

industry we heard first hand from publishers and ad clients what they dreamed online publishing could be.

CEP moved forward and spent the next three years publishing a prototype online magazine to write and refine a new language to address the limitations of standard online publishing methods.

Now, with a new framework that is universally compatible - reducing redundancy and saving production time - publishers can now build without limits.

Growing up, my mother - retired USMC Gunnery Sergeant - worked in Public Affairs. It was motivating to experience journalism through print, radio and television while living in Okinawa, Japan and later in Los Angeles during the 80's and 90's. It was a different time, and it is amazing how technology has changed so rapidly.

After serving in the Marines, I returned to L.A. and started with The Los Angeles Times as an Advertising Assistant.

Afterwards I managed and produced print advertising as an Advertising Executive in trade and consumer magazines until 2010.

On June 2011, Ingredients Magazine launched its first issue. This started the journey to developing ways to improve online publishing.

What is the future of online publishing? Content. Content is what will differentiate publications with history and long standing reputations.

Listed content gives your website a "foot print" on the Internet. This foot print is the most important element

for search engine rating.

Your archives are a gold mine of content waiting to bring readers to your online publication. Additionally, a full extensive access to back issues adds value for readers and advertisers.

CEP's new framework will transform your

digital backups, and printed archives needing to be scanned and developed, into a library of searchable content with build-it-once compatibility with all devices to ensure traffic for years to come.
